In 2012, Mec-Val began installing photovoltaic panels on the roofs of its facilities.
Later, in 2023, we decided to replace our traditional boilers with heat pumps in our buildings. By using a heat pump that does not burn fossil fuels like methane or gas, we eliminate CO2 and other pollutants. This reduction in emissions has a positive impact on everyone’s health.
This approach has enhanced our environmental performance and contributed to the protection and preservation of our green heritage.
This strategy provides us with a local source of electricity, helps protect the environment, lowers certain operational costs, and allows us to invest in other departments critical to our production processes.
